Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Transfer Tickets to Locals ("the platform"), operated by Queen City AI. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. About the Service

Transfer Tickets to Locals is a peer-to-peer ticket marketplace that connects ticket buyers and sellers for live events. The platform acts as a facilitator -- we provide the tools for listing, offering, and communicating, but we are not a party to the transactions between buyers and sellers. We do not own, hold, or guarantee any tickets listed on the platform.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the platform
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
  • You may only maintain one account per person
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your password or allow others to access your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at hello@transferticketstolocals.com. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized access to your account.

4. How the Marketplace Works

Buyers

  • Browse upcoming events and view active offers from other buyers
  • Submit offers with your desired price per ticket, quantity, and optional section preference
  • Offers include an expiration time you set
  • If a seller accepts your offer, you proceed to payment and ticket transfer

Sellers

  • List tickets you own with details (section, row, seat, quantity) and a floor price
  • Review and accept or decline incoming buyer offers
  • Transfer tickets to the buyer via the official venue app (mobile transfer only)

Transactions

When a seller accepts an offer, payment is held in escrow until the buyer confirms receipt of the tickets. All ticket transfers must be completed through official venue mobile transfer (Ticketmaster, AXS, etc.). PDF tickets, screenshots, and physical tickets are not supported.

5. Fees

  • Buyers pay a 10% platform fee on top of the accepted offer amount
  • Sellers pay $0 to list tickets and receive 100% of the accepted offer amount
  • Fees are non-refundable once a transaction has been completed

6. Offers and Transactions

  • Offers automatically expire based on the expiration time set by the buyer
  • Sellers are not obligated to accept any offer
  • Once an offer is accepted, both parties are expected to complete the transaction in good faith
  • Payment is held in escrow until the ticket transfer is confirmed by the buyer
  • Failure to complete a transaction may result in account restrictions

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • List tickets you do not own or cannot transfer
  • Provide false or misleading information in listings or offers
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
  • Attempt to complete transactions outside the platform to avoid fees or protections
  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Interfere with the operation of the platform or circumvent security measures

8. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises between a buyer and seller, either party should report it to hello@transferticketstolocals.com. We will make reasonable efforts to mediate disputes, but we are not a guarantor of any transaction. If a ticket transfer cannot be verified, escrowed funds will be returned to the buyer.

9. Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not responsible for the validity, quality, or availability of tickets listed by sellers
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount of fees you have paid to the platform in the 12 months preceding the claim
  • We do not guarantee that the platform will be available at all times or free from errors

10. Intellectual Property

The Transfer Tickets to Locals name, logo, design, and platform content are the property of Queen City AI. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our branding or content without written permission. By listing tickets or creating content on the platform, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display that content as part of the service.

11. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the platform. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, any pending transactions will be handled according to our dispute resolution process.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved in the courts of Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
